OCRL encodes an inositol polyphosphate 5-phosphatase. OCRL, inositol polyphosphate-5-phosphatase is involved in regulating membrane trafficking and is located in numerous subcellular locations including the trans-Golgi network, clathrin-coated vesicles and, endosomes and the plasma membrane. OCRL, inositol polyphosphate-5-phosphatase may also play a role in primary cilium formation. Mutations in OCRL cause oculocerebrorenal syndrome of Lowe and also Dent disease. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
The OCRL Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of the OCRL protein. This antibody is produced using a polyclonal approach, which ensures a high degree of specificity and sensitivity. The OCRL Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It has been extensively validated for use in both research and diagnostic settings, and has been shown to provide reliable and reproducible results. The OCRL Polyclonal Antibody is supplied in a convenient format, with a range of sizes available to suit different experimental requirements. It is manufactured to the highest standards of quality and purity, ensuring consistent performance and reliable results. Whether you are studying the function of the OCRL protein in normal physiology or investigating its role in disease, the OCRL Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for your research.
