The protein encoded by NLRX1 (NLR family member X1) is a member of the NLR family and localizes to the outer mitochondrial membrane. The encoded protein is a regulator of mitochondrial antivirus responses. Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for NLRX1.
The NLRX1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of NLRX1 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human NLRX1 protein. The antibody has been purified using protein A affinity chromatography and is supplied as a liquid formulation in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative.
The NLRX1 Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its specificity and sensitivity in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It recognizes a single band of approximately 110 kDa in Western blot analysis of human, mouse, and rat cell lysates. In addition, the antibody has been shown to detect endogenous NLRX1 protein in various tissues, including liver, kidney, and spleen, by immunohistochemistry.
This antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying the role of NLRX1 in various biological processes, including inflammation, immunity, and cell death. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal reagent for detecting NLRX1 protein in complex biological samples. The NLRX1 Polyclonal Antibody is available in various sizes to meet the needs of different research applications.
