MET encodes a member of the receptor tyrosine kinase family of proteins and the product of the proto-oncogene MET. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate alpha and beta subunits that are linked via disulfide bonds to form the mature receptor. Further processing of the beta subunit results in the formation of the M10 peptide, which has been shown to reduce lung fibrosis. Binding of its ligand, hepatocyte growth factor, induces dimerization and activation of the receptor, which plays a role in cellular survival, embryogenesis, and cellular migration and invasion. Mutations in this gene are associated with papillary renal cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and various head and neck cancers. Amplification and overexpression of this gene are also associated with multiple human cancers.

The Met Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody that is designed to detect and bind to the Met protein. This antibody is produced using a polyclonal approach, which involves the use of multiple antibodies that target different regions of the Met protein. As a result, the Met Polyclonal Antibody is able to recognize and bind to a wide range of Met protein variants, making it an ideal tool for a variety of research applications.

The Met Polyclonal Antibody is manufactured using high-quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques to ensure consistent and reliable performance. It has been extensively validated for use in a variety of applications, including western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. This antibody is also suitable for use in a variety of sample types, including tissue lysates, cell lysates, and purified proteins.

In addition to its high specificity and sensitivity, the Met Polyclonal Antibody is also highly versatile and easy to use. It is supplied in a convenient format that is ready-to-use, and it can be easily adapted to a variety of experimental conditions. Whether you are studying the Met protein in cancer research, developmental biology, or other areas of study, the Met Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for your research.
