MDM4 encodes a nuclear protein that contains a p53 binding domain at the N-terminus and a RING finger domain at the C-terminus, and shows structural similarity to p53-binding protein MDM2. Both proteins bind the p53 tumor suppressor protein and inhibit its activity, and have been shown to be overexpressed in a variety of human cancers. However, unlike MDM2 which degrades p53, this protein inhibits p53 by binding its transcriptional activation domain. This protein also interacts with MDM2 protein via the RING finger domain, and inhibits the latter's degradation. So this protein can reverse MDM2-targeted degradation of p53, while maintaining suppression of p53 transactivation and apoptotic functions. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene.

The MDMX Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody that has been designed to detect the MDMX protein in various biological samples. This antibody has been extensively validated for use in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.

The MDMX protein is a critical regulator of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway, which plays a crucial role in preventing the development of cancer. The MDMX Polyclonal Antibody has been shown to be highly effective in detecting MDMX protein expression levels in various cancer cell lines and tissues, making it an essential tool for cancer research.

This antibody has been produced using high-quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques, ensuring that it provides reliable and reproducible results. It has also been rigorously tested to ensure that it is free from any non-specific binding or cross-reactivity with other proteins.

In summary, the MDMX Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody that is essential for the detection of MDMX protein expression levels in various biological samples. Its high-quality production and rigorous testing make it a reliable tool for cancer research and other applications.
