LEFTY1 encodes a member of the TGF-beta family of proteins. A similar secreted protein in mouse plays a role in left-right asymmetry determination of organ systems during development. Alternative processing of this protein can yield three different products. LEFTY1 is closely linked to both a related family member and a related pseudogene.
The Lefty Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of Lefty protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human Lefty protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards Lefty protein, making it an ideal tool for various applications in research and diagnostics.
The Lefty Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its performance in various immunoassays, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA. It has been shown to detect endogenous levels of Lefty protein in various tissues and cell lines, and can be used for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of Lefty expression.
This antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, which has been affinity-purified from rabbit serum using protein A chromatography. It is provided in a liquid format, and can be easily stored at -20°C for long-term use. The Lefty Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and high-quality reagent that can be used for a wide range of applications in the field of molecular biology and biotechnology.
