ADGRL1 encodes a member of the latrophilin subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR). Latrophilins may function in both cell adhesion and signal transduction. In experiments with non-human species, endogenous proteolytic cleavage within a cysteine-rich GPS (G-protein-coupled-receptor proteolysis site) domain resulted in two subunits (a large extracellular N-terminal cell adhesion subunit and a subunit with substantial similarity to the secretin/calcitonin family of GPCRs) being non-covalently bound at the cell membrane. Latrophilin-1 has been shown to recruit the neurotoxin from black widow spider venom, alpha-latrotoxin, to the synapse plasma membrane. Alternative splicing results in multiple variants encoding distinct isoforms.

The Latrophilin-1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of Latrophilin-1 protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody has been meticulously developed and rigorously validated to ensure optimal performance and reliability in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.

Latrophilin-1, also known as LPHN1, is a G-protein coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in neuronal development and function. It is involved in synaptic transmission, axon guidance, and neuronal migration, making it an essential protein in the central nervous system. Dysregulation of Latrophilin-1 has been implicated in various neurological disorders, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and schizophrenia.

The Latrophilin-1 Polyclonal Antibody has been produced using high-quality immunogens and state-of-the-art immunization techniques. It exhibits exceptional specificity towards Latrophilin-1, with minimal cross-reactivity to other related proteins. This antibody has been extensively validated using both recombinant Latrophilin-1 protein and tissue samples, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

In Western blotting applications, the Latrophilin-1 Polyclonal Antibody demonstrates a strong and specific band at the expected molecular weight of Latrophilin-1. It exhibits excellent sensitivity, allowing for the detection of low-abundance Latrophilin-1 protein in complex biological samples. Furthermore, this antibody has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence experiments, enabling the visualization and localization of Latrophilin-1 in various tissues and cell types.

The Latrophilin-1 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, eliminating the need for time-consuming and error-prone antibody preparation. It is provided in a convenient format, allowing for easy storage and handling. Each batch of this antibody undergoes rigorous quality control procedures to ensure consistent performance and batch-to-batch reproducibility.

In summary, the Latrophilin-1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly reliable and specific tool for the detection and analysis of Latrophilin-1 protein expression. Its exceptional sensitivity and specificity make it an invaluable asset for researchers studying the role of Latrophilin-1 in neuronal development and neurological disorders.
