The p70/p80 autoantigen is a nuclear complex consisting of two subunits with molecular masses of approximately 70 and 80 kDa. The complex functions as a single-stranded DNA-dependent ATP-dependent helicase. The complex may be involved in the repair of nonhomologous DNA ends such as that required for double-strand break repair, transposition, and V(D)J recombination. High levels of autoantibodies to p70 and p80 have been found in some patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.
The Ku-70 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of Ku-70 protein in various biological samples. This antibody has been meticulously developed and rigorously validated to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
The Ku-70 protein, also known as XRCC6, plays a crucial role in DNA repair and maintenance of genomic stability. It forms a heterodimeric complex with Ku-80, collectively known as Ku, which functions as a DNA end-binding protein. The Ku complex is involved in non-homologous end joining (NHEJ), a major DNA repair pathway that repairs double-strand breaks in DNA.
The Ku-70 Polyclonal Antibody has been produced using state-of-the-art techniques, resulting in a high affinity and specificity towards the Ku-70 protein. It has been extensively tested in various experimental conditions, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence, to ensure consistent and reliable results.
This antibody exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins, ensuring accurate detection and analysis of Ku-70 protein. It is suitable for use in a wide range of research applications, including cancer research, DNA repair studies, and genomics.
The Ku-70 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, making it convenient and easy to use. It is provided in a vial with an optimized concentration, allowing for efficient and cost-effective experiments. The antibody has been quality-controlled to meet the highest standards, ensuring reproducibility and reliability.
In summary, the Ku-70 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying DNA repair mechanisms and genomic stability. Its high specificity, sensitivity, and reliability make it an essential component in various research applications.
