An important paralog of SLC4A1AP is PPP1R8. Kanadaptin (kidney anion exchanger adaptor protein) is a widely expressed protein, shown previously to interact with the cytosolic domain of mouse Cl-/HCO3- anion exchanger 1 (kAE1) but not erythroid AE1 (eAE1) by a yeast-two hybrid assay. Kanadaptin was co-localized with kAE1 in intracellular membranes but not at the plasma membrane in alpha-intercalated cells of rabbit kidney. It was suggested that kanadaptin is an adaptor protein or chaperone involved in targeting kAE1 to the plasma membrane.
The Kanadaptin Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological tool designed for the detection and quantification of Kanadaptin protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a specific region of the Kanadaptin protein.
The Kanadaptin Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional affinity and specificity towards Kanadaptin, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It has been rigorously tested and validated to ensure consistent and reliable results.
With its superior performance characteristics, the Kanadaptin Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a valuable tool for studying the role of Kanadaptin in various cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Its high sensitivity allows for the detection of low levels of Kanadaptin protein, enabling accurate quantification and analysis.
Furthermore, the Kanadaptin Polyclonal Antibody is provided in a convenient and user-friendly format, ensuring ease of use and compatibility with different experimental protocols. It is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use without the need for additional reagents or preparations.
In summary, the Kanadaptin Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and efficient tool for the detection and quantification of Kanadaptin protein. Its exceptional sensitivity, specificity, and ease of use make it an indispensable asset for researchers in the field of molecular biology and biomedical research.
