Interferon regulatory factor 4 encoded by IRF4 belongs to the IRF (interferon regulatory factor) family of transcription factors, characterized by an unique tryptophan pentad repeat DNA-binding domain. The IRFs are important in the regulation of interferons in response to infection by virus, and in the regulation of interferon-inducible genes. This family member is lymphocyte specific and negatively regulates Toll-like-receptor (TLR) signaling that is central to the activation of innate and adaptive immune systems. A chromosomal translocation involving this gene and the IgH locus, t(6;14)(p25;q32), may be a cause of multiple myeloma. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
The IRF-4 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of Interferon Regulatory Factor 4 (IRF-4) protein. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards the target protein.
IRF-4 is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses and lymphocyte development. It is involved in the differentiation and activation of B cells, T cells, and dendritic cells, making it an essential protein in the immune system.
The IRF-4 Polyclonal Antibody is validated for various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It has been extensively tested and proven to provide reliable and reproducible results in these assays.
With its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, this antibody enables researchers to accurately detect and quantify IRF-4 protein levels in various biological samples. It is suitable for both basic research and clinical applications, allowing for a better understanding of the role of IRF-4 in immune-related diseases and disorders.
The IRF-4 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready to use for immediate experimentation. It is available in different sizes to meet the specific needs of researchers. Each batch is quality controlled to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
In summary, the IRF-4 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for studying the function and regulation of IRF-4 protein. Its high specificity, sensitivity, and versatility make it an essential component in immunological research and diagnostics.
