IPMK encodes a member of the inositol phosphokinase family. Inositol polyphosphate multikinase has 3-kinase, 5-kinase and 6-kinase activities on phosphorylated inositol substrates. The encoded protein plays an important role in the biosynthesis of inositol 1,3,4,5,6-pentakisphosphate, and has a preferred 5-kinase activity. This gene may play a role in nuclear mRNA export. Pseudogenes of this gene are located on the long arm of chromosome 13 and the short arm of chromosome 19.
The IPMK Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool for the detection and quantification of inositol polyphosphate multikinase (IPMK) protein in various biological samples. This antibody has been extensively validated for its superior performance in immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and western blotting (WB) applications.
IPMK is a crucial enzyme involved in the synthesis of inositol polyphosphates, which play essential roles in cellular signaling pathways. Dysregulation of IPMK has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic disorders. Therefore, accurate measurement of IPMK protein levels is of great importance in understanding its physiological and pathological functions.
The IPMK Polyclonal Antibody has been meticulously developed using high-quality immunogens and advanced immunization techniques. It exhibits exceptional specificity towards IPMK, ensuring minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins. This antibody demonstrates robust and consistent performance across a wide range of sample types, including human, mouse, and rat tissues.
In IHC and IF applications, the IPMK Polyclonal Antibody produces clear and distinct staining patterns, enabling precise localization of IPMK within cells and tissues. Its high sensitivity allows for the detection of low-abundance IPMK protein, facilitating accurate quantification and analysis. Furthermore, this antibody exhibits excellent signal-to-noise ratio, ensuring reliable and reproducible results.
For WB applications, the IPMK Polyclonal Antibody recognizes a single band at the expected molecular weight of IPMK protein, indicating its specificity and reliability. It exhibits strong and consistent signal intensity, enabling accurate quantification of IPMK protein levels. This antibody also demonstrates excellent performance in both denatured and native protein samples, providing flexibility in experimental design.
In summary, the IPMK Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying IPMK protein and its associated biological processes. Its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and reliability make it an ideal choice for various applications, including IHC, IF, and WB. With this antibody, researchers can confidently investigate the role of IPMK in health and disease, advancing our understanding of cellular signaling pathways and potentially leading to the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
