The protein encoded by IL1A is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. This cytokine is a pleiotropic cytokine involved in various immune responses, inflammatory processes, and hematopoiesis. This cytokine is produced by monocytes and macrophages as a proprotein, which is proteolytically processed and released in response to cell injury, and thus induces apoptosis. This gene and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2. It has been suggested that the polymorphism of these genes is associated with rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer's disease.

The IL-1 Alpha Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of interleukin-1 alpha (IL-1α) in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a specific region of the IL-1α protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards IL-1α, making it an ideal tool for a wide range of research applications.

The IL-1 Alpha Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in various immunoassays, including ELISA, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. It has been validated for use in human, mouse, and rat samples, and has been shown to detect both recombinant and endogenous IL-1α with high sensitivity and specificity. This antibody is also suitable for use in in vitro and in vivo studies of IL-1α function and regulation.

The IL-1 Alpha Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, and is available in various formats and sizes to meet the needs of different research applications. It is provided with detailed instructions for use, and is backed by our quality guarantee to ensure reliable and reproducible results. With its high specificity, sensitivity, and versatility, the IL-1 Alpha Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying the role of IL-1α in various biological processes and diseases.
