Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a histone octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. HIST4H4 is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the histone H4 family. Transcripts from HIST4H4 lack polyA tails; instead, they contain a palindromic termination element.
The Histone H4 (Tri Methyl Lys20) Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection and analysis of histone H4 protein modifications. This antibody is designed to specifically recognize and bind to the tri methylated lysine 20 residue on histone H4, allowing for the precise identification and quantification of this post-translational modification.
The Histone H4 (Tri Methyl Lys20) Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and chromatin immunoprecipitation. Its high affinity and specificity ensure reliable and accurate results, making it an essential tool for researchers studying epigenetic modifications and their role in gene expression and cellular processes.
This antibody is produced using state-of-the-art techniques, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency and high purity. It has been rigorously tested for cross-reactivity with other histone modifications and proteins, ensuring minimal background noise and reliable data interpretation.
The Histone H4 (Tri Methyl Lys20) Polyclonal Antibody is supplied in a convenient and ready-to-use format, allowing for easy integration into existing experimental protocols. It is provided in a liquid formulation, eliminating the need for reconstitution and minimizing the risk of sample contamination.
With its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Histone H4 (Tri Methyl Lys20) Polyclonal Antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the intricate world of histone modifications and their impact on cellular function.
