Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. This structure consists of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a nucleosome, an octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. HIST1H3A is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the histone H3 family. Transcripts from HIST1H3A lack polyA tails; instead, they contain a palindromic termination element. HIST1H3A is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6p22-p21.3.
The Histone H3 (Acetyl Lys9) Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of acetylated Lysine 9 residue on Histone H3 protein. This antibody is produced through a rigorous process of immunization and purification, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards the target antigen.
Histone H3 is a crucial component of chromatin structure and plays a vital role in gene regulation and DNA packaging. Acetylation of Lysine 9 on Histone H3 has been implicated in various biological processes, including transcriptional activation and chromatin remodeling. Therefore, the detection and quantification of acetylated Lysine 9 residue on Histone H3 is of great importance in understanding the epigenetic regulation of gene expression.
The Histone H3 (Acetyl Lys9) Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional performance in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and chromatin immunoprecipitation. It demonstrates high sensitivity and specificity, enabling accurate and reliable detection of acetylated Lysine 9 residue on Histone H3 in a wide range of samples.
This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use. It has been extensively validated and quality-controlled to ensure consistent and reproducible results. The Histone H3 (Acetyl Lys9) Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers and scientists studying epigenetics, chromatin biology, and gene regulation.
