Histones are basic nuclear proteins responsible for nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order structures. HIST1H1B is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the histone H1 family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails but instead contain a palindromic termination element. HIST1H1B is found in the small histone gene cluster on chromosome 6p22-p21.3.
The Histone H1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of histone H1 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards histone H1.
Histone H1 is a crucial component of chromatin structure and plays a vital role in regulating gene expression and DNA packaging. The Histone H1 Polyclonal Antibody recognizes both the phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated forms of histone H1, making it an ideal choice for studying the dynamic modifications of this protein.
This antibody has been extensively validated for various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It exhibits excellent performance in detecting histone H1 in a wide range of species, including human, mouse, and rat.
The Histone H1 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, ensuring convenience and ease of use. It is provided in a liquid format, allowing for direct application without the need for reconstitution. The antibody is also available in different sizes to accommodate various experimental needs.
With its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Histone H1 Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers studying epigenetics, chromatin remodeling, and gene regulation. Its reliable performance and versatility make it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications in both basic and clinical research.
