Histones are basic nuclear proteins responsible for nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order structures. HIST1H1A is intronless and encodes a replication-dependent histone that is a member of the histone H1 family. Transcripts from HIST1H1A lack polyA tails but instead contain a palindromic termination element. HIST1H1A is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6.
The Histone H1 (Mono Methyl Lys25) Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection and analysis of histone H1 protein modifications. This antibody has been rigorously validated and exhibits exceptional performance in various applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence.
The Histone H1 (Mono Methyl Lys25) Polyclonal Antibody is produced using state-of-the-art techniques, ensuring high purity and batch-to-batch consistency. It has been affinity-purified using a peptide corresponding to the mono methylated lysine 25 residue of histone H1, resulting in a highly specific antibody with minimal cross-reactivity.
This antibody demonstrates excellent sensitivity, allowing for the detection of even low levels of histone H1 protein modifications. Its high specificity ensures accurate and reliable results, enabling researchers to confidently study the role of histone H1 in various biological processes.
The Histone H1 (Mono Methyl Lys25) Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, making it easy to handle and use. It is provided in a convenient size, allowing for multiple experiments without the need for frequent reordering.
With its exceptional performance, high specificity, and ease of use, the Histone H1 (Mono Methyl Lys25) Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers studying histone H1 protein modifications and their impact on cellular processes.
