Soluble guanylate cyclases are heterodimeric proteins that catalyze the conversion of GTP to 3',5'-cyclic GMP and pyrophosphate. Guanylate cyclase soluble subunit alpha-3 encoded by GUCY1A3 is an alpha subunit of this complex and it interacts with a beta subunit to form the guanylate cyclase enzyme, which is activated by nitric oxide. Several transcript variants encoding a few different isoforms have been found for this gene.
The GCS-Alpha-1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody that has been developed for use in various research applications. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal region of the GCS-Alpha-1 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody has been purified using a combination of protein A and peptide affinity chromatography to ensure high specificity and purity.
The GCS-Alpha-1 Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence assays. It has been shown to specifically recognize the GCS-Alpha-1 protein in a variety of tissues and cell types, making it an ideal tool for studying the expression and function of this protein.
This antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. It is available in various sizes to suit different experimental needs. The GCS-Alpha-1 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and high-quality reagent that can help researchers advance their understanding of the GCS-Alpha-1 protein and its role in various biological processes.
