FGFR1OP encodes a largely hydrophilic centrosomal protein, FGFR1 oncogene partner, that is required for anchoring microtubules to subcellular structures. A t(6;8)(q27;p11) chromosomal translocation, fusing this gene and the fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1) gene, has been found in cases of myeloproliferative disorder. The resulting chimeric protein contains the N-terminal leucine-rich region of this encoded protein fused to the catalytic domain of FGFR1. Alterations in this gene may also be associated with Crohn's disease, Graves' disease, and vitiligo. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different proteins have been identified.

The FOP Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological tool designed for the detection and quantification of FOP protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a specific region of the FOP protein.

The FOP Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional affinity and selectivity towards the FOP protein, ensuring accurate and reliable results in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA).

With its superior sensitivity, this antibody allows for the detection of even low levels of FOP protein, making it an invaluable tool for researchers and clinicians studying the role of FOP in various physiological and pathological processes.

The FOP Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use. It has been rigorously tested for quality and consistency, ensuring optimal performance and reproducibility in every experiment.

Choose the FOP Polyclonal Antibody for its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and reliability, and unlock new insights into the function and regulation of FOP protein.
