PDIA3 encodes a protein of the endoplasmic reticulum that interacts with lectin chaperones calreticulin and calnexin to modulate folding of newly synthesized glycoproteins. Protein disulfide-isomerase A3was once thought to be a phospholipase; however, it has been demonstrated that the protein actually has protein disulfide isomerase activity. It is thought that complexes of lectins and this protein mediate protein folding by promoting formation of disulfide bonds in their glycoprotein substrates.

The ERp57 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of ERp57 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human ERp57 protein. The antibody has been purified using protein A affinity chromatography and is supplied as a liquid solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative.

The ERp57 Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its specificity and sensitivity in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It recognizes a single band of approximately 57 kDa in Western blot analysis of human, mouse, and rat cell lysates. In addition, it shows strong staining of ERp57 protein in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human tissues, indicating its suitability for use in immunohistochemistry.

This antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying ERp57 protein and its role in various biological processes, including protein folding, quality control, and redox regulation. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal choice for detecting ERp57 protein in complex biological samples. The ERp57 Polyclonal Antibody is available in various sizes and formats to meet the needs of different research applications.
