EPOR encodes the erythropoietin receptor which is a member of the cytokine receptor family. Upon erythropoietin binding, this receptor activates Jak2 tyrosine kinase which activates different intracellular pathways including: ras/MAP kinase, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and STAT transcription factors. The stimulated erythropoietin receptor appears to have a role in erythroid cell survival. Defects in the erythropoietin receptor may produce erythroleukemia and familial erythrocytosis. Dysregulation of this gene may affect the growth of certain tumors. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
The EpoR Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of erythropoietin receptor (EpoR) protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a specific region of the EpoR protein.
The EpoR Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional affinity and selectivity towards EpoR, enabling accurate and reliable results in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. It recognizes both the glycosylated and non-glycosylated forms of EpoR, ensuring comprehensive detection capabilities.
With its robust performance and low background noise, this antibody guarantees precise and reproducible results, making it an indispensable tool for researchers and scientists in the field of erythropoiesis and related studies. Its high sensitivity allows for the detection of even low levels of EpoR protein, facilitating the investigation of its expression patterns and potential functional roles.
The EpoR Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use. It has been rigorously tested for quality and consistency, ensuring optimal performance in every experiment. Its long shelf life and stability make it a cost-effective choice for laboratories and research institutions.
In summary, the EpoR Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and efficient tool for the detection and quantification of EpoR protein. Its exceptional sensitivity, specificity, and versatility make it an invaluable asset for researchers aiming to unravel the complexities of erythropoiesis and its associated processes.
