CCL26 is one of two Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q arm of chromosome 7. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for normal peripheral blood eosinophils and basophils. The product of this gene is one of three related chemokines that specifically activate chemokine receptor CCR3. This chemokine may contribute to the eosinophil accumulation in atopic diseases.
The Eotaxin-3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection and quantification of Eotaxin-3 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human Eotaxin-3 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards Eotaxin-3 protein, making it an ideal reagent for various research applications.
The Eotaxin-3 Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for use in Western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and other immunoassays. It has been shown to detect Eotaxin-3 protein in a variety of human tissues and cell lines, including lung, spleen, thymus, and peripheral blood leukocytes. This antibody has also been used to study the role of Eotaxin-3 in various disease states, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, and eosinophilic esophagitis.
This product is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, which has been affinity-purified from rabbit serum using protein A chromatography. The Eotaxin-3 Polyclonal Antibody is provided in a liquid format, and is ready-to-use for various applications. It is recommended to store this antibody at -20°C for long-term storage, and to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
In summary, the Eotaxin-3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection and quantification of Eotaxin-3 protein in various biological samples. It is a valuable reagent for researchers studying the role of Eotaxin-3 in various disease states, and is suitable for use in a variety of immunoassays.
