E2F transcription factor 4 encoded by E2F4 is a member of the E2F family of transcription factors. The E2F family plays a crucial role in the control of cell cycle and action of tumor suppressor proteins and is also a target of the transforming proteins of small DNA tumor viruses. The E2F proteins contain several evolutionally conserved domains found in most members of the family. These domains include a DNA binding domain, a dimerization domain which determines interaction with the differentiation regulated transcription factor proteins (DP), a transactivation domain enriched in acidic amino acids, and a tumor suppressor protein association domain which is embedded within the transactivation domain. This protein binds to all three of the tumor suppressor proteins pRB, p107 and p130, but with higher affinity to the last two. It plays an important role in the suppression of proliferation-associated genes, and its gene mutation and increased expression may be associated with human cancer.

The E2F-4/5 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of E2F-4 and E2F-5 proteins in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards the target proteins.

E2F-4 and E2F-5 are transcription factors that play crucial roles in cell cycle regulation, DNA replication, and cell proliferation. Dysregulation of these proteins has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer. Therefore, the accurate detection and quantification of E2F-4 and E2F-5 proteins are of utmost importance in both basic research and clinical applications.

The E2F-4/5 Polyclonal Antibody exhibits excellent performance in various immunoassays, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It recognizes endogenous levels of E2F-4 and E2F-5 proteins in a wide range of species, including human, mouse, and rat.

This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready to use for immediate experimentation. It has been rigorously validated for its specificity, sensitivity, and reproducibility, ensuring reliable and consistent results. Additionally, it exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with other related proteins, further enhancing its specificity.

The E2F-4/5 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for researchers and clinicians studying cell cycle regulation, DNA replication, and cancer biology. Its high specificity, sensitivity, and versatility make it an invaluable asset in various applications, including biomarker discovery, drug development, and disease diagnosis.

Order your E2F-4/5 Polyclonal Antibody today and unlock the potential of your research by gaining valuable insights into the intricate mechanisms of cell cycle control and disease progression.
