KRT8 is a member of the type II keratin family clustered on the long arm of chromosome 12. Type I and type II keratins heteropolymerize to form intermediate-sized filaments in the cytoplasm of epithelial cells. The product of KRT8 typically dimerizes with keratin 18 to form an intermediate filament in simple single-layered epithelial cells. Keratin 8 plays a role in maintaining cellular structural integrity and also functions in signal transduction and cellular differentiation. Mutations in KRT8 cause cryptogenic cirrhosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for KRT8.

The Cytokeratin 8 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of Cytokeratin 8 (CK8) protein expression. This antibody is produced using advanced techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards CK8.

Cytokeratin 8 is a member of the intermediate filament family and is primarily expressed in epithelial cells. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity of epithelial tissues and is involved in various cellular processes, including cell migration, adhesion, and signaling. Aberrant expression of CK8 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer.

The Cytokeratin 8 Polyclonal Antibody is validated for use in various applications, including immunohistochemistry (IHC), western blotting, and immunofluorescence. It exhibits excellent performance in detecting CK8 expression in both formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) and frozen tissue sections.

This antibody offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, enabling accurate and reliable detection of CK8 in various sample types. It provides researchers with a valuable tool for studying the role of CK8 in normal and pathological conditions, as well as for diagnostic purposes.

The Cytokeratin 8 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied in a convenient format, allowing for easy handling and storage. It is provided in a liquid form, ready-to-use, and does not require any additional reagents or preparation steps. Each batch of antibody undergoes rigorous quality control testing to ensure consistent performance and reliability.

In summary, the Cytokeratin 8 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly reliable and specific tool for the detection and analysis of CK8 protein expression. Its exceptional sensitivity and versatility make it an ideal choice for researchers and clinicians working in the field of epithelial biology and pathology.
