Keratin 7encoded by KRT7 is a member of the keratin gene family. The type II cytokeratins consist of basic or neutral proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains coexpressed during differentiation of simple and stratified epithelial tissues. This type II cytokeratin is specifically expressed in the simple epithelia lining the cavities of the internal organs and in the gland ducts and blood vessels. The genes encoding the type II cytokeratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 12q12-q13. Alternative splicing may result in several transcript variants; however, not all variants have been fully described.

The Cytokeratin 7 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological tool designed for the detection and analysis of Cytokeratin 7 (CK7) protein expression. This antibody is produced through a rigorous and meticulous process, ensuring its exceptional quality and reliability.

CK7 is a member of the intermediate filament family of proteins and is primarily expressed in epithelial cells. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity of epithelial tissues and is widely used as a marker for various types of epithelial cancers, including lung, breast, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers.

The Cytokeratin 7 Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional affinity and specificity towards CK7, enabling accurate and precise detection of CK7 expression in various biological samples. It has been extensively validated for use in immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and western blotting applications.

This antibody offers numerous advantages, including its high sensitivity, low background noise, and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. It is compatible with a wide range of sample types, including formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues, frozen sections, cell lines, and xenograft models.

Furthermore, the Cytokeratin 7 Polyclonal Antibody demonstrates exceptional reproducibility and consistency, ensuring reliable and reproducible results across different experiments and laboratories. Its robust performance and versatility make it an indispensable tool for researchers and clinicians involved in cancer research, diagnostics, and personalized medicine.

In summary, the Cytokeratin 7 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly reliable and sensitive immunological reagent that enables accurate detection and analysis of CK7 protein expression. Its exceptional performance, versatility, and compatibility with various sample types make it an invaluable tool for cancer research and diagnostics.
