Keratin 15 encoded by KRT15 is a member of the keratin gene family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. Most of the type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains and are clustered in a region on chromosome 17q21.2.
The Cytokeratin 15 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of Cytokeratin 15 (CK15) protein expression. This antibody is produced using advanced techniques to ensure high affinity and specificity, making it an ideal choice for various research applications.
Cytokeratin 15 is a member of the intermediate filament protein family and is primarily expressed in the basal cells of stratified epithelia. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity and function of epithelial tissues. Aberrant expression of CK15 has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer.
The Cytokeratin 15 Polyclonal Antibody has been rigorously validated for its performance in immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and western blotting (WB) applications. It exhibits excellent sensitivity and specificity, enabling accurate and reliable detection of CK15 protein expression in various sample types.
This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation, ready for immediate use. It is provided in a convenient size, allowing for multiple experiments without compromising its quality. The Cytokeratin 15 Polyclonal Antibody is compatible with a wide range of secondary detection systems, facilitating seamless integration into existing laboratory protocols.
