The protein encoded by CCNE1 (cyclin E1)belongs to the highly conserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by a dramatic periodicity in protein abundance through the cell cycle. Cyclins function as regulators of CDK kinases. Different cyclins exhibit distinct expression and degradation patterns which contribute to the temporal coordination of each mitotic event. This cyclin forms a complex with and functions as a regulatory subunit of CDK2, whose activity is required for cell cycle G1/S transition. This protein accumulates at the G1-S phase boundary and is degraded as cells progress through S phase. Overexpression of CCNE1 has been observed in many tumors, which results in chromosome instability, and thus may contribute to tumorigenesis. This protein was found to associate with, and be involved in, the phosphorylation of NPAT protein (nuclear protein mapped to the ATM locus), which participates in cell-cycle regulated histone gene expression and plays a critical role in promoting cell-cycle progression in the absence of pRB.
The Cyclin E1 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of Cyclin E1 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced recombinant technology, ensuring high purity and batch-to-batch consistency.
Cyclin E1 is a crucial regulator of the cell cycle, playing a pivotal role in the transition from G1 to S phase. Dysregulation of Cyclin E1 expression has been implicated in numerous pathological conditions, including cancer. Therefore, accurate measurement of Cyclin E1 levels is of utmost importance in both research and clinical settings.
The Cyclin E1 Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional specificity, binding exclusively to Cyclin E1 protein without cross-reactivity to other cyclin family members. This antibody has been extensively validated in various experimental techniques, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence, ensuring reliable and reproducible results.
With its high sensitivity, this antibody allows for the detection of low levels of Cyclin E1 protein, enabling researchers to study its expression dynamics in different cell types and tissues. Moreover, the Cyclin E1 Polyclonal Antibody demonstrates excellent performance in both human and animal samples, making it a versatile tool for a wide range of applications.
In summary, the Cyclin E1 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and efficient reagent for the accurate detection and quantification of Cyclin E1 protein. Its exceptional specificity, sensitivity, and versatility make it an invaluable asset for researchers and clinicians alike, facilitating in-depth investigations into the role of Cyclin E1 in various biological processes and diseases.
