CXCR3 encodes a G protein-coupled receptor with selectivity for three chemokines, termed CXCL9/Mig (monokine induced by interferon-g), CXCL10/IP10 (interferon-g-inducible 10 kDa protein) and CXCL11/I-TAC (interferon-inducible T cell a-chemoattractant). Binding of chemokines to this protein induces cellular responses that are involved in leukocyte traffic, most notably integrin activation, cytoskeletal changes and chemotactic migration. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. One of the isoforms (CXCR3-B) shows high affinity binding to chemokine, CXCL4/PF4 (PMID: 12782716).
The CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of CXCR-3 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human CXCR-3 protein. The CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its specificity and sensitivity in various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry.
The CXCR-3 protein is a chemokine receptor that plays a critical role in the immune response by regulating the migration and activation of T cells and other immune cells. Dysregulation of CXCR-3 signaling has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory diseases. Therefore, the CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the role of CXCR-3 in these diseases.
The CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, which has been affinity-purified using protein A chromatography. The antibody is provided in a liquid format and can be stored at -20°C for long-term storage. The CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody is available in various sizes to meet the needs of different applications and experimental designs.
In summary, the CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody that is ideal for the detection of CXCR-3 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the role of CXCR-3 in various diseases and can be used in a range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry.
