CXCR3 encodes a G protein-coupled receptor with selectivity for three chemokines, termed CXCL9/Mig (monokine induced by interferon-g), CXCL10/IP10 (interferon-g-inducible 10 kDa protein) and CXCL11/I-TAC (interferon-inducible T cell a-chemoattractant). Binding of chemokines to this protein induces cellular responses that are involved in leukocyte traffic, most notably integrin activation, cytoskeletal changes and chemotactic migration. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for CXCR3. One of the isoforms (CXCR3-B) shows high affinity binding to chemokine, CXCL4/PF4 (PMID:12782716).
The CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of CXCR-3 protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards CXCR-3.
CXCR-3, also known as C-X-C chemokine receptor type 3, is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in immune responses and inflammation. It is primarily expressed on activated T cells, natural killer cells, and some subsets of dendritic cells. The CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody recognizes both the active and inactive forms of CXCR-3, making it an ideal tool for studying the regulation and function of this receptor.
This antibody has been extensively validated for various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. It exhibits excellent sensitivity and specificity, enabling accurate and reliable detection of CXCR-3 expression in different experimental settings. Furthermore, the antibody has been optimized for minimal cross-reactivity with other chemokine receptors, ensuring specific detection of CXCR-3.
The CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a purified and lyophilized product, ensuring long-term stability and ease of storage. It is recommended to reconstitute the antibody in the provided buffer before use, following the instructions provided in the product manual. Each batch of antibody undergoes rigorous quality control tests to ensure consistent performance and lot-to-lot reproducibility.
In summary, the CXCR-3 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and versatile tool for researchers studying the role of CXCR-3 in immune responses and inflammation. Its high specificity, sensitivity, and ease of use make it an essential component of any study involving CXCR-3 protein expression analysis.
