CELSR3 belongs to the flamingo subfamily, which is included in the cadherin superfamily. The flamingo cadherins consist of nonclassic-type cadherins that do not interact with catenins. They are plasma membrane proteins containing seven epidermal growth factor-like repeats, nine cadherin domains and two laminin A G-type repeats in their ectodomain. They also have seven transmembrane domains, a characteristic feature of their subfamily. The encoded protein may be involved in the regulation of contact-dependent neurite growth and may play a role in tumor formation.
The CENP-A Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection of centromere protein A (CENP-A) in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human CENP-A protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards CENP-A, making it an ideal reagent for various applications, including immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence.
The CENP-A Polyclonal Antibody is validated for use in human, mouse, and rat samples, and has been extensively tested for its performance in various experimental conditions. This antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, and is suitable for use in both research and diagnostic applications.
With its high specificity and sensitivity, the CENP-A Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying the role of CENP-A in various cellular processes, including chromosome segregation, mitosis, and cell division. Its reliable performance and consistent results make it a valuable addition to any laboratory working in the field of cell biology and molecular biology.
