Cell division cycle 6encoded by CDC6 is highly similar to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc6, a protein essential for the initiation of DNA replication. This protein functions as a regulator at the early steps of DNA replication. It localizes in cell nucleus during cell cyle G1, but translocates to the cytoplasm at the start of S phase. The subcellular translocation of this protein during cell cyle is regulated through its phosphorylation by Cdks. Transcription of this protein was reported to be regulated in response to mitogenic signals through transcriptional control mechanism involving E2F proteins. [.
The Cdc27 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of Cdc27 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human Cdc27 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody has been purified using protein A affinity chromatography and is suitable for use in a variety of applications, including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemistry.
The Cdc27 protein is a key component of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), which is a large multi-subunit E3 ubiquitin ligase that plays a critical role in the regulation of cell cycle progression and mitosis. The Cdc27 protein is essential for the proper function of the APC/C, and its expression and activity are tightly regulated during the cell cycle.
The Cdc27 Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for its specificity and sensitivity in detecting Cdc27 protein in various cell lines and tissues. It has been shown to recognize both the full-length and truncated forms of Cdc27 protein, and it does not cross-react with other APC/C subunits or related proteins.
Overall, the Cdc27 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and high-quality tool for the detection and analysis of Cdc27 protein in biological samples. Its specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal choice for researchers studying the regulation of cell cycle progression and mitosis, as well as those investigating the role of the APC/C in various cellular processes.
