CDC25A is a member of the CDC25 family of phosphatases. CDC25A is required for progression from G1 to the S phase of the cell cycle. It activates the cyclin-dependent kinase CDC2 by removing two phosphate groups. CDC25A is specifically degraded in response to DNA damage, which prevents cells with chromosomal abnormalities from progressing through cell division. CDC25A is an oncogene, although its exact role in oncogenesis has not been demonstrated. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for CDC25A.
The Cdc25A Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive antibody designed for the detection of Cdc25A protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human Cdc25A protein. The antibody has been purified using protein A affinity chromatography and is supplied as a liquid formulation in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative.
The Cdc25A protein is a key regulator of the cell cycle and is involved in the control of cell division and proliferation. Aberrant expression of Cdc25A has been linked to various human cancers, making it an important target for cancer research. The Cdc25A Polyclonal Antibody has been extensively validated for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications. It has been shown to specifically recognize Cdc25A protein in a variety of human and animal cell lines and tissues.
This antibody is suitable for use in both research and diagnostic applications. It is recommended for use in studies investigating the role of Cdc25A in cell cycle regulation, cancer biology, and other related fields. The Cdc25A Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and high-quality reagent that can provide accurate and reproducible results in a variety of experimental settings.
