The intercellular adhesion molecule 3 encoded by ICAM3 is a member of the intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM) family. All ICAM proteins are type I transmembrane glycoproteins, contain 2-9 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, and bind to the leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein. This protein is constitutively and abundantly expressed by all leucocytes and may be the most important ligand for LFA-1 in the initiation of the immune response. It functions not only as an adhesion molecule, but also as a potent signalling molecule. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

The CD50 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of CD50 protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human CD50 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards CD50 protein, making it an ideal tool for various research applications.

The CD50 Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in a variety of immunoassays, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. It has been validated for use in human, mouse, and rat samples, and has been shown to detect CD50 protein expression in a variety of tissues and cell types. This antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, and has been tested for purity and specificity to ensure consistent and reliable results.

In summary, the CD50 Polyclonal Antibody is a high-quality immunological reagent that offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity for the detection and quantification of CD50 protein expression in various biological samples. Its versatility and reliability make it an essential tool for researchers studying the role of CD50 in various physiological and pathological processes.
