The protein encoded by CD3E (CD3e molecule) is the CD3-epsilon polypeptide, which together with CD3-gamma, -delta and -zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, forms the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. This complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. The genes encoding the epsilon, gamma and delta polypeptides are located in the same cluster on chromosome 11. The epsilon polypeptide plays an essential role in T-cell development. Defects in CD3E cause immunodeficiency. CD3E has also been linked to a susceptibility to type I diabetes in women.
The CD3-Epsilon Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of CD3-Epsilon protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human CD3-Epsilon protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards CD3-Epsilon protein, making it an ideal tool for various applications in immunology research.
The CD3-Epsilon Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in various immunoassays, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. It has been validated for use in human, mouse, and rat samples, and has been shown to exhibit minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins. This antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, and is available in various sizes to meet the needs of different research applications.
The CD3-Epsilon Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and versatile tool for the detection and quantification of CD3-Epsilon protein in various biological samples. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal choice for researchers studying the role of CD3-Epsilon in immune system function and disease.
