Putative adhesion molecule that mediates sialic-acid dependent binding to cells. Preferentially binds to alpha-2,3- and alpha-2,6-linked sialic acid. Also binds disialogangliosides (disialogalactosyl globoside, disialyl lactotetraosylceramide and disialyl GalNAc lactotetraoslylceramide). The sialic acid recognition site may be masked by cis interactions with sialic acids on the same cell surface. In the immune response, may act as an inhibitory receptor upon ligand induced tyrosine phosphorylation by recruiting cytoplasmic phosphatase(s) via their SH2 domain(s) that block signal transduction through dephosphorylation of signaling molecules. Mediates inhibition of natural killer cells cytotoxicity. May play a role in hemopoiesis. Inhibits differentiation of CD34+ cell precursors towards myelomonocytic cell lineage and proliferation of leukemic myeloid cells (in vitro).
The CD328 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of CD328 protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human CD328 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards CD328 protein, making it an ideal tool for various research applications.
The CD328 Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in a variety of immunological techniques, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. It has been validated for use in human, mouse, and rat samples, and has been shown to detect CD328 protein expression in a variety of tissues and cell types. This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative.
The CD328 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying the role of CD328 protein in various biological processes, including immune response, inflammation, and cancer.
