CASP3 encodes a protein which is a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. Sequential activation of caspases plays a central role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes which undergo proteolytic processing at conserved aspartic residues to produce two subunits, large and small, that dimerize to form the active enzyme. This protein (caspase 3) cleaves and activates caspases 6, 7 and 9, and the protein itself is processed by caspases 8, 9 and 10. It is the predominant caspase involved in the cleavage of amyloid-beta 4A precursor protein, which is associated with neuronal death in Alzheimer's disease. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants that encode the same protein.

The Caspase 3 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and quantification of Caspase 3 protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards the target protein.

Caspase 3, also known as cysteine-aspartic acid protease 3, plays a crucial role in the execution phase of apoptosis, a programmed cell death process. It is involved in the cleavage of various cellular substrates, leading to the dismantling of the cell and its eventual demise. Therefore, the accurate measurement of Caspase 3 levels is essential for understanding the apoptotic pathway and its dysregulation in various diseases.

The Caspase 3 Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional performance in a wide range of applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It recognizes both the proenzyme and the active form of Caspase 3, enabling the detection of the protein at different stages of apoptosis. This antibody demonstrates minimal cross-reactivity with other caspase family members, ensuring reliable and specific results.

With its high sensitivity and specificity, the Caspase 3 Polyclonal Antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers and clinicians studying apoptosis and its implications in various pathological conditions. Its superior performance and consistent results make it an ideal choice for a wide range of experimental and diagnostic applications.

Order the Caspase 3 Polyclonal Antibody today and unlock new insights into the intricate mechanisms of apoptosis, paving the way for advancements in disease research and therapeutic interventions.
