Human Cav-1(Caveolin-1) ELISA Kit

The Human Cav-1 (Caveolin-1) ELISA Kit is a highly reliable and sensitive assay designed for the quantitative measurement of Caveolin-1 in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit is based on the sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) principle, which utilizes two specific antibodies that bind to different epitopes of the target protein. The assay is performed in a 96-well microplate coated with a monoclonal antibody against Caveolin-1. The sample is added to the wells, and the target protein binds to the immobilized antibody. After washing, a biotinylated polyclonal antibody against Caveolin-1 is added, which binds to the captured protein.

The plate is then washed again, and a streptavidin-horseradish peroxidase conjugate is added, which binds to the biotinylated antibody. Finally, a chromogenic substrate is added, and the color development is measured at 450 nm. The sensitivity of this kit is 0.1 ng/mL, and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/mL.
