Human α-La(Alpha-Lactalbumin) ELISA Kit

The HUMAN α-LA (Alpha-Lactalbumin) ELISA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the quantitative determination of α-Lactalbumin in human serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. This kit is based on the sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) principle, which utilizes two highly specific antibodies that recognize different epitopes of α-Lactalbumin.

The assay is performed in a microtiter plate coated with a monoclonal antibody specific for α-Lactalbumin. The sample is added to the plate, and any α-Lactalbumin present in the sample binds to the immobilized antibody. After washing away any unbound substances, a biotinylated polyclonal antibody specific for α-Lactalbumin is added to the plate, which binds to the captured α-Lactalbumin. Following another washing step, streptavidin-conjugated horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is added to the plate, which binds to the biotinylated antibody. Finally, a substrate solution is added to the plate, and the color development is measured at 450 nm. The concentration of α-Lactalbumin in the sample is determined by comparing the optical density of the sample to a standard curve.
