The Mouse CTSL (Cathepsin L) ELISA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse CTSL in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit is based on the sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) principle, which utilizes a monoclonal antibody specific for mouse CTSL coated onto a microplate. The sample is added to the microplate and any CTSL present in the sample binds to the immobilized antibody. After washing away any unbound substances, a biotinylated detection antibody specific for mouse CTSL is added to the microplate. This antibody binds to the captured CTSL, forming a sandwich complex. Streptavidin-HRP is then added to the microplate, which binds to the biotinylated detection antibody. Finally, a substrate solution is added to the microplate, which reacts with the bound HRP to produce a colorimetric signal that is proportional to the amount of CTSL present in the sample.
The Mouse CTSL ELISA Kit has a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. The assay is highly reproducible, with intra-assay and inter-assay coefficients of variation of less than 10%. The kit is easy to use and requires only a small amount of sample, making it ideal for high-throughput screening of large numbers of samples. The kit includes all necessary reagents and a detailed protocol, and can be used with standard laboratory equipment.
The measurement of CTSL levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants is important for understanding the role of CTSL in various physiological and pathological processes. CTSL is a lysosomal cysteine protease that is involved in the degradation of extracellular matrix proteins, antigen processing, and apoptosis. Abnormal CTSL expression has been implicated in a variety of diseases, including cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular disease. The Mouse CTSL ELISA Kit provides a reliable and accurate method for quantifying CTSL levels in mouse samples, and can be used in a wide range of research applications.
