Applications: IHC;IF;ELISA
Reactivity: Human;Rat;Mouse;
Source: Rabbit
Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1/100 - 1/300. ELISA: 1/10000. Not yet tested in other applications.
Immunogen: Synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human CASPR3.
Storage_stability: -20°C/1 year
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Human_gene_id: 79937
Human_swiss_prot_no: Q9BZ76
Subcellular_location: [Isoform 1]: Cell membrane ; Single-pass type I membrane protein .; [Isoform 2]: Secreted .
Other_name: CNTNAP3; CASPR3; KIAA1714; Contactin-associated protein-like 3; Cell recognition molecule Caspr3
Background: The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the NCP family of cell-recognition molecules. This family represents a distinct subgroup of the neurexins. NCP proteins mediate neuron-glial interactions in vertebrates and glial-glial contact in invertebrates. The protein encoded by this gene may play a role in cell recognition within the nervous system. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described but their biological nature has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008],
