Applications: WB;ELISA
Reactivity: Human;Rat;Mouse;
Source: Rabbit
Dilution: Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/2000. ELISA: 1/20000. Not yet tested in other applications.
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human KLF1 around the non-acetylation site of Lys274. AA range:231-280
Storage_stability: -20°C/1 year
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed_band(KD): 38kD
Human_gene_id: 10661
Human_swiss_prot_no: Q13351
Subcellular_location: Nucleus . Colocalizes with SUMO1 in nuclear speckles. .
Other_name: KLF1; EKLF; Krueppel-like factor 1; Erythroid krueppel-like transcription factor; EKLF
Background: This gene encodes a hematopoietic-specific transcription factor that induces high-level expression of adult beta-globin and other erythroid genes. The zinc-finger protein binds to the DNA sequence CCACACCCT found in the beta hemoglobin promoter. Heterozygous loss-of-function mutations in this gene result in the dominant In(Lu) blood phenotype.
