Source: Rabbit
Dilution: Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/2000. Immunohistochemistry: 1/100 - 1/300. Immunofluorescence: 1/200 - 1/1000. ELISA: 1/20000. Not yet tested in other applications.
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human BCKD . AA range:11-60
Storage_stability: -20°C/1 year
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed_band(KD): 46kD
Human_gene_id: 10295
Human_swiss_prot_no: O14874
Subcellular_location: Mitochondrion matrix. Mitochondrion .
Other_name: BCKDK; [3-methyl-2-oxobutanoate dehydrogenase [lipoamide]] kinase; mitochondrial; Branched-chain alpha-ketoacid dehydrogenase kinase; BCKD-kinase; BCKDHKIN
Background: The branched-chain alpha-ketoacid dehydrogenase complex (BCKD) is an important regulator of the valine, leucine, and isoleucine catabolic pathways. The protein encoded by this gene is found in the mitochondrion, where it phosphorylates and inactivates BCKD. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
