Applications: WB
Reactivity: Human;Rat;Mouse;
Source: Rabbit
Dilution: WB 1:1000-2000
Immunogen: Synthesized phosho peptide around human GSK-3β (Thr390)
Storage_stability: -20°C/1 year
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed_band(KD): 48kD
Human_gene_id: 2932
Human_swiss_prot_no: P49841
Subcellular_location: Cytoplasm . Nucleus . Cell membrane . The phosphorylated form shows localization to cytoplasm and cell membrane (PubMed:20937854). The MEMO1-RHOA-DIAPH1 signaling pathway controls localization of the phosphorylated form to the cell membrane (PubMed:20937854). .
Other_name: Glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta (GSK-3 beta) (EC 2.7.11.26) (Serine/threonine-protein kinase GSK3B) (EC 2.7.11.1)
Background: The protein encoded by this gene is a serine-threonine kinase, belonging to the glycogen synthase kinase subfamily. It is involved in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. Polymorphisms in this gene have been implicated in modifying risk of Parkinson disease, and studies in mice show that overexpression of this gene may be relevant to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Sep 2009],
