Applications: WB
Reactivity: Human; Mouse
Source: Rabbit
Dilution: WB 1:500-2000
Immunogen: Synthesized peptide derived from human PDE6D AA range: 89-139
Storage_stability: -20°C/1 year
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Human_gene_id: 5147
Human_swiss_prot_no: O43924
Subcellular_location: Cytoplasm, cytosol . Cytoplasmic vesicle membrane ; Peripheral membrane protein . Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, cilium basal body .
Background: This gene encodes the delta subunit of rod-specific photoreceptor phosphodiesterase (PDE), a key enzyme in the phototransduction cascade. A similar protein in cow functions in solubilizing membrane-bound PDE. In addition to its role in the PDE complex, the encoded protein is thought to bind to prenyl groups of proteins to target them to subcellular organelles called cilia. Mutations in this gene are associated with Joubert syndrome-22. Alternative splicing results in multiple splice variants. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2014],
