Applications: WB
Reactivity: Human; Mouse
Source: Rabbit
Dilution: WB 1:500-2000
Immunogen: Synthesized peptide derived from human RUVB2 AA range: 7-57
Storage_stability: -20°C/1 year
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Human_gene_id: 10856
Human_swiss_prot_no: Q9Y230
Subcellular_location: Nucleus matrix. Nucleus, nucleoplasm. Cytoplasm. Membrane. Dynein axonemal particle . Mainly localized in the nucleus, associated with nuclear matrix or in the nuclear cytosol. Although it is also present in the cytoplasm and associated with the cell membranes.
Background: This gene encodes the second human homologue of the bacterial RuvB gene. Bacterial RuvB protein is a DNA helicase essential for homologous recombination and DNA double-strand break repair. Functional analysis showed that this gene product has both ATPase and DNA helicase activities. This gene is physically linked to the CGB/LHB gene cluster on chromosome 19q13.3, and is very close (55 nt) to the LHB gene, in the opposite orientation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008],
