Description: Recombinant Human Protein Wnt-3a is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ser19-Lys352 is expressed with a fusion design at the N-terminus.
Accession: P56704
Molecular weight: 105.9 KDa
Apparent molecular weight: 100-120 KDa, reducing conditions
Other names: MGC119418; MGC119419; MGC119420; protein Wnt-3a; wingless-type MMTV integration site family, member 3A; Wnt3a; Wnt-3a
Storage condition: Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20°C for 3 months.
Purity: Greater than 90% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: Less than 0.001 ng/µg (0.01 EU/µg) as determined by LAL test.
Redissolve: Always centrifuge tubes before opening.Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100μg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Background: Wnt-3a is one of 19 vertebrate members of the Wingless-type MMTV integration site (Wnt) family of highly conserved cysteine-rich secreted glycoproteins important for normal developmental processes.Required for normal embryonic mesoderm development and formation of caudal somites. Required for normal morphogenesis of the developing neural tube (By similarity). Mediates self-renewal of the stem cells at the bottom on intestinal crypts (in vitro).
