Description: Recombinant Human Protocadherin-10 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Gln19-Thr715 is expressed with a Fc tag at the C-terminus.
Accession: Q9P2E7
Molecular weight: 102.4 KDa
Apparent molecular weight: 120-140 KDa, reducing conditions
Other names: Protocadherin-10; PCDH10; KIAA1400
Storage condition: Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20°C for 3 months.
Purity: Greater than 75% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin: Less than 0.1 ng/µg (1 EU/µg) as determined by LAL test.
Redissolve: Always centrifuge tubes before opening.Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100μg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Delivery condition: The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature listed below.
Background: Protocadherin-10 (PCDH10) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that contains six extracellular cadherin domains, one transmembrane domain and one cytoplasmic tail differing from those of the classical cadherins. As a potential calcium-dependent cell-adhesion neuronal receptor, it may plays a role in the establishment and function of specific cell-cell connections in the brain. PCDH10 moderately expressed in all regions of the brain examined, as well as in testis and ovary, and low expression in all other tested tissues.
