{"product_id":"nsj-v3564-100ug","title":"Recombinant E-Cadherin Antibody, 100 ug","description":"\u003cp\u003eRecognizes a protein of 80-120kDa, identified as E-cadherin. Cadherins comprise a family of Ca2+-dependent adhesion molecules that function to mediate cell-cell binding critical to the maintenance of tissue structure and morphogenesis. The classical cadherins, E-, N- and P-cadherin, consist of large extracellular domains characterized by a series of five homologous NH2 terminal repeats. The relatively short intracellular domains interact with a variety of cytoplasmic proteins, such as b-catenin, to regulate cadherin function. E-cadherin plays an important role in epithelial cell adhesion. A decreased expression of E-cadherin is associated with metastatic potential and poor prognosis in breast cancer, prostate and esophageal cancer. In combination with p120 Catenin, it is useful for the differentiation between ductal (E-cadherin +) and lobular (E-cadherin -) breast carcinomas. It may also help in diagnosis of mesothelioma. \u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"NSJ Bioreagents","offers":[{"title":"100 ug","offer_id":51548884861208,"sku":"V3564-100UG","price":559.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0590\/5652\/1400\/files\/get_image_7df1b03d-c101-4cc2-bddb-ccf177cd6353.jpg?v=1768288535","url":"https:\/\/danabiosci.com\/products\/nsj-v3564-100ug","provider":"Dana Bioscience","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
