It is mapped to 16p11.2. It is a major sialoglycoprotein on the surface of human T lymphocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, and some B lymphocytes, which is important for immune function and may be part of a physiologic ligand-receptor complex involved in T-cell activation. Expression of CD43 is deficient and\/or defective in the X-chromosome-linked immunodeficiency disorder Wiscott-Aldrich syndrome, suggesting that CD43 have a role in T-cell activation. T-cell activation requires the removal of CD43 from the immunologic synapse to allow efficient engagement of the TCR with molecules on the APC.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"NSJ Bioreagents","offers":[{"title":"100 ug","offer_id":51550459953432,"sku":"R31521","price":449.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0590\/5652\/1400\/files\/get_image_4bdd316c-4fc6-4e4f-b996-97f8d8a03b20.jpg?v=1768314742","url":"https:\/\/danabiosci.com\/products\/nsj-r31521-100ug","provider":"Dana Bioscience","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
