This gene encodes a member of the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) gene family, which belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Two subgroups of the CEA family, the CEA cell adhesion molecules and the pregnancy-specific glycoproteins, are located within a 1.2 Mb cluster on the long arm of chromosome 19. Eleven pseudogenes of the CEA cell adhesion molecule subgroup are also found in the cluster. The encoded protein was originally described in bile ducts of liver as biliary glycoprotein. Subsequently, it was found to be a cell-cell adhesion molecule detected on leukocytes, epithelia, and endothelia. The encoded protein mediates cell adhesion via homophilic as well as heterophilic binding to other proteins of the subgroup. Multiple cellular activities have been attributed to the encoded protein, including roles in the differentiation and arrangement of tissue thre

The CD66a/b/c Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological tool designed for the detection and analysis of CD66a, CD66b, and CD66c proteins. This antibody is produced using advanced techniques and rigorous quality control measures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

CD66a, CD66b, and CD66c are members of the carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule (CEACAM) family, which play crucial roles in cell adhesion, signal transduction, and immune response regulation. The CD66a/b/c Polyclonal Antibody recognizes these proteins in a variety of biological samples, including tissue lysates, cell lysates, and body fluids.

This antibody exhibits exceptional specificity, binding exclusively to CD66a, CD66b, and CD66c proteins without cross-reactivity to other CEACAM family members or unrelated antigens. Its high sensitivity enables the detection of low-abundance CD66a/b/c proteins, making it an ideal tool for both qualitative and quantitative analysis.

The CD66a/b/c Polyclonal Antibody is validated for various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry. It is compatible with multiple species, including human, mouse, and rat, facilitating its use in diverse research settings.

With its superior performance characteristics and broad applicability, the CD66a/b/c Polyclonal Antibody is an indispensable tool for researchers studying the functions and roles of CD66a, CD66b, and CD66c proteins in various biological processes, such as cancer development, immune response modulation, and cell adhesion dynamics.
