{"product_id":"new-product-227966","title":"OB-cadherin polyclonal antibody","description":"\u003cp\u003eThe cadherins are a family of Ca++-dependent adhesion molecules that function to mediate cell-cell binding critical to the maintenance of tissue structure and morphogenesis. Cadherins each contain a large extracellular domain at the amino terminus, which is characterized by a series of five homologous repeats, the most distal of which is thought to be responsible for binding specificity. The relatively short carboxy terminal, intracellular domain interacts with a variety of cytoplasmic proteins, including catenin β, to regulate cadherin function. Two forms of OB-cadherin (for osteoblast-cadherin, also designated cadherin-11 or OSF-4) have been identified as OBcadherin- 1 and OB-cadherin-2. Both OB-cadherins are expressed in osteoblastic cell lines and low expression is also seen in lungs, testis and brain. OB-cadherin-2 has a truncated cytoplasmic domain.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Bioworld","offers":[{"title":"100ul \/ Rabbit \/ Human,Mouse,Rat","offer_id":47662246560024,"sku":"BS71086","price":408.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0590\/5652\/1400\/products\/BIOWORLD_5655bad4-b701-46f7-83af-382b0db7f347.jpg?v=1707482230","url":"https:\/\/danabiosci.com\/products\/new-product-227966","provider":"Dana Bioscience","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
