It binds RASGAP through the juxtamembrane tyrosines residues, and also interacts with PRKCABP and GRIP1 This type I membrane protein is expressed in brain, heart, lung, kidney, placenta, pancreas, liver and skeletal muscle. It is preferentially expressed in fetal brain.
